The Yu-Gi-Oh cartoon series that ran from 1996 to March 8, 2004 came to an end. After that Yu-Gi-Oh came back as Yu-Gi-Oh GX. This awesome show of Duel Monsters action is set at the Duel Academy. Students such as Jaden Yuki aka Yugi Moto go to the academy to test thier skills and become the King of games. The school has three dorms full of students, Slifer Red for the not so good duelists, Ra Yellow for the good duelists, and Obelisk blue for the best students. Jaden Yuki is the new hero, a great duelist who makes alot of friends and has unbelievable adventures. Now with that in mind here's the 411 on the rest of the show.
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - Slifer Red Students
Chumley Huffington - This big duelist has been in Slifer Red forever because he keeps failing his tests!
Jaden Yuki - A new student in the Slifer Red dorm, Jaden has the dueling instincts of a master, he just needs to practice his skills more.
Syrus Truesdale - A friend of Jaden and a student in the Slifer Red dorm, Syrus has a powerful deck but he's too nervous to use it properly.
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - Ra Yellow Dorm Students
Bastion Masawa - A British Duel Academy student with incredible skill and the best test scores in the school. He landed in the Ra Yellow dorm. Bastion studieshis opponents and his cards so he always knows the most mathematically perfect move to make.
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - Obelisk Blue Dorm Students
These are the best students at the Duel Academy and have Dr. Crowler as their professor.
Alexis Rhodes - One of the best duelists in the Obelisk Blue dorm, Alexis is impressed by Jaden's dueling skills and cheers him on in his duels.
Chazz Princeton - A freshman duelist who went straight into the Obelisk Blue dorm, Chazz is a dueling snob who wants Jaden booted out of the Duel Academy.
Zane Truesdale - Syrus' older brother is the best duelist in Obelisk Blue and has never been defeated in a duel! Unfortunately, he totally ignores his lil' bro because Syrus can't duel.
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - Teachers and Villains
Chancellor Sheppard - The head of the Duel Academy is a decent guy who makes sure that Dr. Crowler isn't too rough on the students.
Dr. Vellian Crowler - Is it a boy? Is it a girl? Whatever it is, it's ugly and it's the teacher for the Obelisk Blue dorm at the Duel Academy. Dr. Crowler is also an expert duelist and a real jerk.
Lyman Banner - The professor for the Slifer Red dorm has a german accent and a terrible secret - he's really Amnael, a Shadow Rider!
Slade Princeton - One of Chazz's brothers. He wants to take over the Duel Academy and Chazz has to duel him to stop him!
The Shadow Riders - These seven villains appear to capture the Sacred Beast Cards in the first season of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX.
